Dr Pretorius is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist who offers a complete and professional service in general obstetrics and gynaecology.

Patients are seen at the Wexford Medical Centre on the St John of God Murdoch Hospital campus, with all deliveries and surgical procedures performed at SJOG Murdoch — a private hospital with a dedicated maternity unit and special care nursery.

Pregnancy & Antenatal Care

Shared and full antenatal care, ultrasound coordination, gestational health monitoring, and birth planning, supported by the maternity team at St John of God Murdoch.

Obstetric Delivery

Birth care for low and higher-risk pregnancies, including planned caesarean delivery, vaginal birth, and post-natal review, all conducted at SJOG Murdoch's private maternity unit.

General Gynaecology

Consultation and management of menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, menopause, and preventive women's health.

Gynaecological Surgery

Day surgical and inpatient procedures performed at St John of God Murdoch, with pre-operative consultation and post-operative follow-up coordinated through the rooms.

Fees & billing

Consultation fees are advised by reception at the time of booking. Patients with a current referral are entitled to a Medicare rebate, which is processed at the practice on the day.

Obstetric and surgical fees are discussed in detail at the planning consultation, including expected hospital, anaesthetic and ancillary costs. Self-funded patients are welcome.

Getting here & parking

The Wexford Medical Centre is located on the St John of God Murdoch hospital campus, accessed from Barry Marshall Parade. Paid patient parking is available on-site in the multi-storey car park adjacent to the building.

The practice is on Level 4, Suite 67. Lifts are accessible from the main Wexford foyer.

Cancellations

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact reception on 08 9332 9233 with as much notice as possible so the appointment can be offered to another patient. Late cancellation fees may apply.

If you are pregnant and experiencing heavy bleeding, severe pain, reduced fetal movements, ruptured membranes, or any concerning symptoms, do not wait for an appointment.

Consulting rooms are located in Suite 67, Level 4 of the Wexford Medical Centre, on the St John of God Murdoch hospital campus. All deliveries, day surgery and inpatient procedures are performed at SJOG Murdoch.

For referring GPs and patients.

A current GP or specialist referral is required for all new patient appointments to receive a Medicare rebate. Self-funded patients are also welcome.

Referrals can be sent by fax to 08 9332 9333, by email to admin@drjacques.com.au, or via secure messaging using the EDI ID below.

    From your GP or treating specialist. Indefinite referrals are accepted; standard 12-month referrals are required for ongoing care.

  3. Appointment booking

    Reception will contact the patient directly to schedule. Urgent referrals are triaged on receipt.

  4. Correspondence

    Consultation letters and operative notes are returned to the referring practitioner promptly through secure messaging.
